The Conflict Research Programme received a £6.68 million grant from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and worked closely with a designated Conflict Advisor and with the Research and Evidence Division.

As well as making our publications, reports, policy briefs and digital resources available on this website, outputs from the Conflict Research Programme are uploaded on the Research for Development web platform.

Tackling the range of issues that result in violent conflict and understanding 'what works?' is a core target for FCDO, particularly in its priority countries such as those being studied by the CRP. The programme was tasked with delivering robust and operationally relevant evidence that can support more effective development initiatives from FCDO and other donors and partners.
