During the Inception Year of the Conflict Research Programme (October 2016 - April 2017), the CRP research teams undertook research in their respective focus countries, conducting scoping missions, literature reviews and data-set analysis to better understand the contexts on the ground and provide the rationale for the CRP research design.
The findings were captured and synthesised in a series of papers informing the research plans for the duration of the project.
