Victor Pouliquen is a Guest Teacher at the Department of International Development at the London School of Economics. He is also a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Economics at Nuffield College and the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford.

His research studies how public policies affect formal and informal institutions in Developing Countries. He currently focuses on questions related to the consequences of informality, to the role of new technologies in reshaping the way governments collect taxes and interact with citizens and to the impact of mass media on social norms in Africa. He addresses these questions using field experiments, survey experiments and administrative datasets.

Victor Pouliquen completed his PhD at the Paris School of Economics in 2020. Before doing his PhD, he worked during eight years on research projects and impact evaluations on education, heath, and governance in Africa and Asia with organizations such as the World Bank, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA).
