I am Head of the Department of International Relations and Professor of International Political Economy, as well as co-investigator of the Systemic Risk Centre, Associate of the Grantham Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, and Faculty Affiliate at the Phelan United States Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My research has been supported by grants from the Australian Research Council, the AXA Research Fund, the British Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Economic and Social Research Council.
