LACC partnered with Nacional Financiera (NAFIN), a Mexican development banking institution, and the LSE Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment to run the ‘LSE-NAFIN Fellowship Programme’ at the Centre.
The programme saw NAFIN staff spend a term at LSE to work alongside academics and participate in MSc programme lectures and events. It is anticipated that NAFIN will then be able to apply the research findings to their own practices. The fellows were supervised by Professor Gareth Jones (Director, the LSE Latin America and Caribbean Centre) and researchers in the Grantham Research Institute. LACC appointed three NAFIN fellows who each wrote a Working Paper (see publications, below).
