Chelsea is the Learning and Engagement Officer for LSE Library. She works closely with the archive curators to tell the stories of the collections to a wider audience. She does this via workshops with primary and secondary school pupils and public events for university students and beyond. She leads the Library on the annual LSE Festival project and looks for innovative ways to connect the collections to people outside of LSE. Chelsea specialises in using learning outside of the classroom to increase public awareness, appreciation, and curiosity for heritage, history, and the social sciences.
Chelsea has a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida and an MA degree in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Her education and interests have led her to a career working in outreach and engagement for museums, parks, and now, LSE Library!
