Visitor access to LSE Library and Archive

Find out how visitors from outside LSE can access the Library and collections.

Welcome

Our Library is open to all who want to use the collections.

The access we provide varies from 4 weeks, 3 months to the full academic year — depending on your affiliation, needs and the time of year.

Collections you can access

Visitors can use most print items except those in the Course Collection. They can also use some electronic resources via the 1st floor visitor PCs. If you aren't sure, contact us.
