We are delighted to announce the Department of Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) will host the CEMS Annual Events 2023 and the Master’s in International Management (MIM) Graduation Ceremony.

From Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 December, the Department of Management will welcome the global CEMS network to participate in the 38 events over the five days.

Professor Eric Neumayer, Interim President and Vice Chancellor of LSE said: “We very much look forward to opening the doors of our Department of Management to the CEMS community to foster new connections and new thinking.”

This will be the second time LSE has hosted the CEMS Annual Events since joining the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education in 1991, strengthening the 32-year partnership between the institutions.

“It’s set to be a celebration of creative minds with pioneering ideas in a city that thrives on innovation and diversity,” said Professor Eric Neumayer.

David Meech Mazumdar, Department Manager of the Department of Management, said: “LSE is the sole UK University member of the CEMS Alliance across four continents, 70 multinational companies and NGOs which offer the CEMS Master’s in International Management.”

The CEMS Global Alliance was founded in 1988, and this year is an extra special as we mark 35 years of CEMS.

“We have continued to raise our profile within the CEMS network,” said David Meech Mazumdar. “Professor Sandy Pepper led a two-year task force looking at ‘The Corporate Partner Model and Value Proposition’, and Dr Christine Côté has taken on the role of the Chair of the Academic Committee for a second term.”

Dr Christine Côté, Associate Professor at LSE and CEMS Academic Committee Chair, said: “On behalf of the academic directors, I would like to offer a huge congratulations to our 2023 CEMS graduates. I am particularly excited to be welcoming them to the fabulous city of London, the home of my University, The London School of Economics and Political Science.”
