About me

Dr Nayat Horozoglu is an Assistant Professor (Education) of Management in the Department of Management at LSE.

Nayat holds an MSc and a PhD in Operational Research (Management Science) from LSE. Her PhD applied mathematical modelling techniques and game theory to cost allocation problems in wireless networks. More recently, she has also developed an interest in issues relating to widening participation in higher education and social mobility at professional service firms.

Before returning to LSE in 2019, Nayat worked for more than seven years as a consultant advising trustee and corporate clients on a wide range of pensions and investment issues. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2016.
