About me

Research Interests 

Limichi’s doctoral research will revolve around how movement participants and non-participants consider particular tactics legitimate strategies of enacting active citizenship. Through analyzing how citizens appropriate, subvert or resist the meaning of active citizenship, the project also aims to explore the discourses that influence conceptions of citizenship, civic practices, and dissent, and empirical questions as to the kinds of citizenship that are emerging. 

 

Biography 

Limichi holds an MSc in Politics & Communications (with distinction and a prize for excellence) and a BSc in Politics & International Relations (First Class Honours), both from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Limichi’s doctoral research is supported by an LSE PhD Studentship.
