Abdulrahman Alhajri is an Assistant Professor at Kuwait International Law School and a LSE-Kuwait Fellow at the LSE Middle East Centre. Dr. Alhajri was awarded this fellowship through the Kuwait Programme, funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, to develop research on the topic of A Qualitative Study of the Right to Access Information and Digital Transformation in Kuwait. Educationally, Dr. Alhajri earned his LLB and LLM degrees from Brunel University Law School. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a PhD in Law from Middlesex University Law School, where he conducted seminal research under the mentorship of Professor William Schabas. Dr. Alhajri's doctoral thesis focused on the intricate dynamics of the Separation of Powers within the Kuwaiti Criminal Justice system.  

Dr. Alhajri's scholarly interests span various domains within constitutional and administrative law, with a specialized emphasis on human rights discourse. Notably, his expertise extends to the nuanced intersections of constitutional law and electoral systems, showcasing a multidisciplinary approach encompassing both legal and political science perspectives.
