SSCR Update - Improving the evidence base for adult social care practice

Annual Conference 2012

We are pleased to host our third annual conference on 14 May 2012 at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and excited to hear from a number of social care colleagues and SSCR Fellows on key issues in adult social care practice and their research.

Event: Annual Conference 2012

14 May 2012, 10.00 - 15.45

The NIHR School for Social Care Research is one of the leading funders of research into adult social care practice in England. Our research findings will support new developments in social care policy and practice. Since 2009 we have commissioned over 35 research studies, 16 reviews of methods and 6 evidence scoping studies. View our annual report for more information.

Our annual conference provides an opportunity for those interested in adult social care practice research to learn more about SSCR, our research and wider activities. Our annual conferences bring together researchers, policy-makers, managers, commissioners, providers, people who use services, carers and practitioners, among others. This year's conference will present some early research study findings, and features contributions from experts in the adult social care field.
