The LSE Philosophy Blog aims to provide an accessible introduction to the cutting-edge philosophical work taking place at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
We try to make the blog as understandable (and interesting!) as possible to the non-specialist by keeping each article concise and by avoiding jargon wherever we can. We eschew obfuscation. For those of you who’d like to delve a little deeper, we offer recommendations for further reading.
Our blog posts are written by members and associates of the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method and/or the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science and focus on the kind of analytic philosophy for which LSE is known: that which is both continuous with the sciences and socially relevant. We will also occasionally re-post appropriate articles from other blogs.
Unless specifically requested by the author, comments will be enabled on all posts. We ask that all commenters abide by our comments policy, or at least that those who don’t abide by the policy don’t express surprise at the non-appearance of their comments.
