I hold a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University, a MSc in International Economics from the University of Sussex and a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent. My research expertise lies in economics applied to education and the study of gender inequalities in the labour market.
Currently I am working on two projects. I am studying the effect of mass academisation on non-academy schools. I am also using the British cohort studies to investigate how early life socio-emotional skills affect women’s outcomes in the labour market over the course of their lifes.
