Dr Francesca Foliano is a Senior Research Fellow at UCL Social Research Institute and a Visiting Vellow at the Department of Social Policy, LSE. 

Current areas of research include:

• Labour economics: gender equality in the labour market, geographical and social mobility of young adults.
• Economics of Education: the effect of choice and school competition in local education markets.
