Jin Zhu is a Research Officer in the Department of Statistics working with Prof. Chengchun Shi on the field of reinforcement learning. His primary research focus revolves around the development of algorithms for reinforcement learning and machine learning, with an emphasis on achieving statistical and computational guarantees. Jin also has a keen interest in designing statistical software to broaden the application of these algorithms. Before joining LSE in 2023, Jin Zhu earned his PhD in Statistics at Sun Yat-Sen University, under the supervision of Dr. Xueqin Wang and Dr. Na You.
