From 7 October 2024 until 29 November 2024, work will be undertaken to the pipes at Carr-Saunders Hall in the corridors on the basement floor, ground floor, floors 1,2,3 and 4. Some disruption is expected due to the drilling and replacement work. This is essential work to allow for more functional pipes. Constructions workers will be visible in the hall during this time.

From 9 October 2024 until 11 October 2024, work will be undertaken to the showers in Taviton building at Passfield Hall. Some disruption is expected as each shower in turn will be out of service for one to two hours. This is essential work to allow for more functionali showerheads and shower valves.
From 14 October 2024 to end of November 2024, work will be underdaken to the fire alarm system at Passfield Hall in all buildings. This is essential work to provide a more modern fire alarm system, and access to student bedrooms will be necessary. Some disruption is expected, as there will be a brief sound test each day between 3pm and 4pm to ensure the system is functioning correctly. As part of the completion on 8 November 2024, a full system test will take place between 10am and 5pm. This will involve a longer sound testing throughout the day and is expected to be disruptive.
