Betty MacQuitty Scholarship

LSE is pleased to announce the Betty MacQuitty Scholarship, for an undergraduate student from the UK in financial need, commencing study at LSE in 2021 session. 

Eligibility

This scholarship is for a UK undergraduate with an offer of admission to any UG programme, with a preference for an applicant over the age of 21, who demonstrates financial need.

Scholarship amount

The scholarship will cover full tuition fees and provide an annual stipend of £10,800 per academic year. It is renewable for the second and third years of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance. 

How to apply

 Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the scholarship application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 01 June 2021

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the Financial Support Office (FSO) is now working remotely, which means we cannot receive hard copies of application forms or supporting documents. We are now accepting scanned copies of application forms and supporting documents by the scholarship deadline.

To be considered for a scholarship please complete the LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2021 and return a scanned copy along with your supporting documents to the FSO at financial-support@lse.ac.uk. Your academic reference can also be sent by email from the institutional email address of your referee to the FSO inbox (financial-support@lse.ac.uk), we will match it with your application.
