Kadas Scholarships

We are delighted to announce that LSE has three generous scholarships available for new undergraduate students from Central and Eastern Europe who are starting at LSE in 2021.

The awards are worth £15,000 per year for the duration of your undergraduate programme.

The deadline for applications is 14 May but you may submit your reference, provided we have received the main application, up to 21 May. 


This scholarship is for an overseas undergraduate with an offer of admission to any UG programme who is a national of and domicilied in one of the following countries; Hungary, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania , Macedonia, Moldovia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Scholarship amount

The scholarship will provide £15,000 per academic year. It is renewable for the second and third years of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance. 

How to apply

Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the scholarship application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 14 May 2021

Please note that you may submit your reference, provided we have received the main application, up to 21 May. 

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the Financial Support Office (FSO) is now working remotely, which means we cannot receive hard copies of application forms or supporting documents. We are now accepting scanned copies of application forms and supporting documents by the scholarship deadline.

To be considered for a scholarship please complete the LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2021 and return a scanned copy along with your supporting documents to the FSO at Your academic reference can also be sent by email from the institutional email address of your referee to the FSO inbox (, we will match it with your application.
