New Futures Fund Studentships

LSE is pleased to confirm the continuation of support for undergraduate students through the New Futures Fund.

These funds are made up from multiple donations to LSE to support any UK student with an offer of admission to any undergraduate programme commencing in 2021.


These scholarships are for UK and EU offer holders for any undergraduate programme, who demonstrates financial need.

Scholarship amount

The scholarships vary in value depending on financial need demonstrated but are renewable for the second and third years of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance at the same value.

How to apply

Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 1 June 2021

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the Financial Support Office (FSO) is now working remotely, which means we cannot receive hard copies of application forms or supporting documents. We are now accepting scanned copies of application forms and supporting documents by the scholarship deadline.

To be considered for a scholarship please complete LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2021 and return a scanned copy along with your supporting documents to the FSO at Your academic reference can also be sent by email from the institutional email address of your referee to the FSO inbox (, we will match it with your application.
