LSE guided campus tour

LSE campus , United Kingdom

Our guided campus tours are a great opportunity to visit some of LSE’s key facilities and get a feel for what it’s like to be a student at the School.

Guided campus tours are led by current LSE students and last for approximately 40 minutes. Tours are followed by an optional 30 minute presentation outlining undergraduate, graduate and General Course study options at LSE, student life and the application process delivered by a member of staff from Student Marketing, Recruitment and Study Abroad.

This campus tour is fully booked.

Accessibility

If you have any access requirements, you can indicate this on the booking form at the time of registering for the tour. Alternatively, please contact Claudia Cocozza to discuss your requirements.

Accessibility guides for all LSE buildings can be viewed on the AccessAble website.

Attendance is free of charge and does not form part of the School’s selection process.

FAQs

What time do I need to arrive and where does the campus tour start?

We advise that you arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled 3pm tour departure time. Please refer to the information in your booking confirmation email for details of where the tour will begin.

Holborn and Temple underground stations are a five to ten minute walk away from LSE. Use our maps of LSE and directions to the campus to find your way to us.

We are unable to wait for late arrivals. If you arrive after the tour has departed, you are welcome to take a self-guided tour around LSE’s campus using the LSExplorer.

Can I bring guests with me?

When booking a place you will be given the opportunity to book a place for one guest to accompany you. We cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Can I visit academic departments or speak to academic staff during my visit?

Tours do not include visits to individual academic departments, nor are we able to arrange appointments with academic members of staff. For an introductory presentation about the range of study options at LSE, student life and the application process, please register for an online Discovery session.

Does the tour include student accommodation?

Visits to LSE’s halls of residence are not included in our guided campus tours. To find out about accommodation options at LSE, please visit our Residential Services webpage.

If there is a particular residence you would like to visit, you are advised to email their reception team in advance to determine whether they would be able to offer you a virtual tour on your chosen date. Contact details for the reception teams can be found on individual residence webpages.

I can’t visit on any of the listed dates. Can you arrange a guided tour for me at another time?

We can only offer guided tours on the dates listed. Outside of these times, you are welcome to visit LSE and take a self-guided tour using our LSExplorer.

Alternatively, there are more opportunities to visit LSE or experience LSE from home.

Can I store my luggage?

We do not have storage facilities at LSE so you will be required to keep personal belongings with you at all times. Consequently, we would ask that you avoid bringing luggage with you. Mainline stations, such as London King’s Cross and London Waterloo, often offer paid for left luggage facilities.

Are there any COVID-19 requirements I need to comply with in order to attend?

If you test positive or are feeling unwell, we ask that you do not attend the event. Enhanced ventilation measures and cleaning regimes are in place on the LSE campus. Find out more about the COVID-secure measures currently in place at LSE.

Can I make a group booking?

If you are making a booking for a school or college group of ten or more students in Year 11 or above, please complete our group visit request form instead.

Read our Code of Behaviour before attending our events.
