Campus tours and individual visits

Book an appointment with the Student Marketing and Recruitment team

If you are a prospective LSE student and have questions that are not answered by our website, you can request an in-person appointment with a member of the Student Marketing and Recruitment team.

30 minute appointments are available on weekdays (excluding public holidays and School closure days) between 11.00 and 15.00 (UK time).

Please complete our Appointment request form at least five working days in advance of the proposed date of your visit. It is not possible to request same-day appointments through submission of this form. Your request for an appointment will be considered on the basis of both the nature of your questions and our ability to host your visit.

Completion of the form does not guarantee that an appointment will be possible and we apologise in advance for any disappointment this might cause.

We advise against making travel arrangements before your request has been considered but you do not need to make an appointment in order to visit LSE's campus. You can explore the campus at any time using our LSExplorer self-guided tour. See below for further details.

Self-guided campus tours

Take a self-guided tour of the campus, using our LSExplorer. This self-guided tour has been designed to allow you to explore and discover LSE’s compact campus at your leisure. In light of COVID-19 restrictions, it leads you around the streets and external public spaces that surround our buildings. To maximise social distancing on campus and ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students, it isn’t currently possible for visitors to enter our buildings. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment this might cause.

Guided campus tours

Our guided campus tours are a great opportunity to visit some of LSE’s key facilities and get a feel for what it’s like to be a student at LSE. Guided campus tours are led by current LSE students and last for approximately 40 minutes. Tours are followed by an optional 30 minute presentation outlining undergraduate, graduate and General Course study options at LSE, student life and the application process delivered by a member of staff from Student Marketing and Recruitment.

Places are limited and advance booking is essential.

Select your chosen date from the list below to book a place:

We can only offer guided tours on the dates listed. Outside of these times, you are welcome to visit LSE and take a self-guided tour using our LSExplorer.

All attendees will be required to comply with LSE’s COVID-secure measures

  • Testing: All visitors, including those who have been vaccinated, will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the last four days prior to the event to join the tour and enter campus buildings. Any self-administered test must be reported via the National Health Service (NHS) website and confirmed via email or text message. You will be required to present the email or text message on arrival.

  • Mask wearing: Mask wearing will be mandatory at all times while indoors in one of LSE's buildings on campus, unless medically exempt.

  • If you have any COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the tour and ensure that you follow government guidelines

  • Regular hand sanitising points are available on campus.

  • Due to the current COVID-secure measures in place, internal access to some buildings, including the library, will not be possible.
  • Please be aware that we may need to introduce further COVID-secure measures in the future in line with guidance from the government and Public Health England.
