INSIGHTS series

Showcasing theory in practice, the Department runs the INSIGHTS speaker series during the academic year inviting leading practitioners to discuss the latest topical issues on accounting and finance and hosted by Dr Kenneth Lee, MSc Programme Director.

The EXCHANGE series exposes accounting students to the latest departmental research on accounting regulation, business groups, corporate culture, and responsible investing: October 2022

Annual LSE Accounting Student Ball

In March 2022 the Department held its first Accounting Student Ball in the Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn attended by over 250 undergraduate and postgraduate students. It was a fantastic evening which is now firmly a part of the academic calendar of events for our students.

The 2023 Accounting Student Ball is scheduled to take place on Friday 10 March 2023 at the Waldorf Hotel, London. Tickets (£45) will go on sale from the 15 January 2023 on the LSE E-shop.

MRes/PhD in Accounting Information Session

Join our PhD Programme Directors to learn more about the MRes/PhD in Accounting programme at LSE. This session will include information and advice about making an application, funding and the programme structure followed by Q&A with current PhD students and faculty.

LSE Undergraduate Open Day 2023

The next Undergraduate Open Day will take place in April 2023. The Open Day is a good way to see the campus and what has to offer in addition to learning about the BSc Accounting and Finance programme and meeting current students on the course. Registration is essential and further information can be found on the Discover LSE webpage.
