LSE Department of Accounting Celebrates Outstanding Achievements in Prestigious Rankings and Teaching Awards

The LSE Department of Accounting is thrilled to announce that it has been ranked top for Accounting and Finance in four of the UK’s most prestigious university guides: The Guardian University Guide 2024, The Times and The Sunday Times UK University Ranking, and the 2025 Complete University Guide.

This remarkable accomplishment highlights LSE’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education and research. Recognition across these respected publications underscores the exceptional quality of the Department’s faculty and research, the strength of its academic programmes, and the outstanding performance of its students.

Further celebrating this period of success, the LSE Department of Accounting has been honoured with the Award for Department Excellence at the LSESU Teaching Awards 2024. This prestigious accolade recognises the Department's dedication to excellence in several key areas: organisational and administrative support; community building; networking and social opportunities; responsiveness to student feedback; excellent welfare and pastoral support; and commitment to diversity and inclusion. 

In addition, special congratulations go to Yinan Li, Kathyayini Madduri, and Anna Romanova, who were awarded the LSE Class Teacher Awards in recognition of their exceptional contributions to teaching at LSE this year.
