What is the LSE Africa Research Day?
The Africa PhD Research Day is an initiative from the Africa Engagement Programme to bring together LSE’s PhD students working on Africa. The event creates connections between students from different departments to showcase the breadth of the School's work on the African continent. The initiative furthers the FLIA’s commitment to support the personal, professional and career development of students researching on Africa.
Based on LSE’s Research Development Framework, the Africa PhD Research Day seeks to nurture researchers in the effectiveness of their knowledge production, research organisation and governance, communication practices and impact.
