About me

As a research assistant in CPEC, Elisa has collaborated on the STRiDE International project while editing and proofreading countries’ desk reviews. She has collaborated with Professor Martin Knapp and experts from New Castle University as the team applied to the WHO Essential Medicines List for an anti-dementia drug (i.e., Donepezil). Elisa has collaborated with CPEC colleagues on the Women’s Brain Project which explores sex and gender differences in quality of dementia care, dementia treatments effectiveness and risk. She has collaborated with Dr. Michela Tinelli on a project commissioned by the European Brain Council on evaluating migraine newest medications. Moreover, Elisa has contributed to the World Alzheimer Report 2024 with Professor Sara Evans-Lacko by running a global survey on stigma and dementia, conducting the analysis, and reporting the main findings in Chapter 2: Attitudes to dementia survey results. She started her PhD in September 2024 in the Department of Health Policy at the LSE on treatments adherence and/or nonadherence patterns among people with dementia in the UK.
