About me

Jacqueline Damant works at the Care and Policy Evaluation Centre (CPEC) of the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a BSc in Nursing (McGill University) and a Bachelor's of Commerce in Strategic Management (McGill University). She completed an MPhil in Development Studies (University of Cambridge), writing a dissertation on Social capital and mental health in low income countries. In 2015, she completed a PhD in Social Policy (LSE). Her main research interests include the digital inclusion of older people, integrated care systems, and the quality of services of residential care for older adults.

Prior to joining the LSE, Jacqueline worked as a Research Nurse in clinical epidemiology at University College London and the Westminster Primary Care Trust. Jacqueline has also worked as a Registered Nurse in acute psychiatry, neonatal intensive care (Montreal, Canada), geriatric (Tuebingen, German) units and in rehabilitation services for older adults at a community hospital (Oxford, UK).
