Sarthak is a social data scientist specialising in applying quantitative and computational techniques to answer social science questions. Currently, Sarthak is pursuing a PhD at the department of health policy at LSE, alongside working full time at CPEC. In the PhD, Sarthak is studying the economics of integration of health and social care in the UK. Sarthak is particularly interested in studying the relationship between health and social care authorities through networks, spatial, and other econometric methods.
They began working with CPEC during their MSc in Applied Social Data science from LSE, following which they have taken up a full-time role working on a range of projects including analysis of the social care market in London, lifetime spending by social care users and commissioning of social care services. Prior to joining CPEC, Sarthak completed their dissertation on analysing networks in collective action using a case study of farmer's protests in India.
