Zsofia is a developmental psychologist, researcher, and an entrepreneur. Her research interests include cross-cultural mental health service development, workplace mental health, and caregiver interventions for developmental disabilities.
Following her studies in Psychology in Eotvos Lorand University in Hungary, and in the University of Cambridge in the UK, she completed her PhD in King’s College London. In her PhD she studied service development for and empowerment of families raising children with developmental disorders in Ethiopia and in Argentina.
She is the founder of AMKA Counselling, a social enterprise for cross-cultural workplace mental health. On her blog, The Travelling Psychologist, she writes about her research, social dilemmas, and encountering cultures.
