Camilla Fasano is an MPhil/PhD candidate in Health Policy and Health Economics at the Department of Health Policy. Her research focuses on evaluating the long-term cost-effectiveness and implementation of early interventions for children with autism. By addressing these critical issues, her work aims to generate evidence that informs funding decisions and drives advancements in health and social care economics and implementation science.
Trained as a medical doctor, Camilla brings experience in public health, hospital management, and vaccination campaigns. She also collaborated with WHO Europe as a consultant, where she played a key role in developing the WHO’s first public health leadership course. Building on this foundation, she completed a master’s degree in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at LSE and LSHTM. Her master’s dissertation investigated the barriers and facilitators to implementing assistive technologies for people with dementia.
