Li-Huei Liu is a first-year MPhil/PhD student in Health Policy and Health Economics in the Department of Health Policy. Her PhD research is focused on frailty, integrated care, and health digitalisation. She aims to explore how digital health technologies impact frail older people and seeks to strengthen its integration across micro (individual), meso (service), and macro (system) levels.
Li-Huei’s other research interests include long-term care policy, health literacy, and health equity. Her master’s dissertation examined the relationship between health literacy, frailty, and quality of life among older people in Taiwan. She has collaborated with experts in Taiwan on two studies focused on developing health equity indicators. She is eager to pursue further collaborative opportunities in these fields across different regions.
Li-Huei received her BA degree in Public Administration from National Chengchi University (NCCU) and her MSc degree in Health Policy and Management from National Taiwan University (NTU). Prior to her PhD in LSE, she worked as an assistant researcher in the Department of Long-term Care at Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare. After that, she joined research teams at NTU and NCCU, while also remotely participating in research projects of the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) in LSE.
