On 2 May Ian Roxan presented a Report on "Rules on independence and responsibility regarding auditing, tax advice, accountancy, account certification services and legal services" to the European Parliament’s PANA Committee.
PANA is the Committee of Inquiry to investigate alleged contraventions and maladministration in the application of Union law in relation to money laundering, tax avoidance and tax evasion, its powers, set up following the Panama Papers leaks. The Report was written by Ian Roxan of the Law Department, Saipriya Kamath of the Accounting Department and Willem Pieter de Groen of CEPS under a contract with LSE Consulting.
