Professor Niamh Moloney recently gave evidence to the House of Commons International Trade Select Committee for its Inquiry on UK Trade Options Beyond 2019.
The inquiry was established to examine the various trade models that might be available to the UK after Brexit, and to consider their strengths and weaknesses. The inquiry will also look at future trading relationships between the UK and the wider world, as well as between the UK and the EU.
Issues discussed included the access of the UK financial services industry to the EU after Brexit and international competition in regulation. Information on the session is available here.
The final report of the inquiry is now available.
