Professor Andrew Murray has been appointed as a member of the Law Society’s LawTech Regulation Task Force.
The LawTech Delivery Panel, a team of industry experts and leading figures from government and the judiciary, has been formed to help the UK legal sector grow and fulfil its potential. By identifying both barriers to and catalysts for growth, the panel will provide direction to the legal sector and help foster an environment in which new technology can thrive. The Regulation Taskforce is specifically tasked to explore and make recommendations to the LawTech Regulation Task Force for an effective approach to regulation. It will work towards considering the options for an optimal regulatory environment which can best enable innovation and efficiencies in LawTech, as well as enhance the value proposition of UK-based legal services and UK jurisdictions.
