On Tuesday 13 April Professor Andrew Murray gave evidence to the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee Inquiry into Free Speech Online. Alongside Professor Lorna Woods of Essex University he discussed the challenges and potential threats of the UK Online Harms Bill. On Thursday 15 April Professor Murray took part in a one day seminar on the subject of the Rule of Law for the Council of Europe and hosted by the European Court of Human Rights. Professor Murray spoke on “The Rule of (Human) Law in the Digital Age” and discussed in particular the challenges judges face from the increased use of Judicial Expert Systems.
