A seminar, "The invasion of Ukraine & the European Union", open to students, alumni and the general public, will take place on Wednesday 9 March 2022 (attendance can be in person, or online). This will be a discussion with LSE Law School's EU Law group, with Dr Giulia Gentile, Dr Jan Zglinski, Dr Floris de Witte and chaired by Professor Veerle Heyvaert. Discussions will include the financial sanctions, the EU’s geopolitical stance, its role in refugee management, the effect on national politics in the EU, and the possible accession of Ukraine to the EU.
