Michael Blackwell, formerly Associate Professor of Tax Law, has been appointed Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber), with effect from 2 April 2024. Michael’s departure from LSE is a huge loss to the tax team and our empirical legal studies profile, however we wish him all the best in his judicial career.
