Congratulations to Lauren Bursey, an LSE Law School PhD candidate, has won the 2024/25 Canadian Centennial Scholarship, a prestigious award for outstanding students from across Canada who are enrolled in postgraduate programmes at UK universities, colleges, institutes or conservatories. Her research focuses on the illicit trade in antiquities and the role of non-State actors and market intermediaries in effectively enforcing the transnational regime to protect cultural heritage and prevent the illicit trade.
