About our LLB Law School Prizes and Dean’s List

The Dean’s List (for each of Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 of the LLB) recognises high performing Undergraduate students at course level who acquire a mark of 73 or more (as it has been determined this is a particularly excellent mark to receive). Students can be awarded the Dean’s List for more than one course. There is no monetary value attached. Both Law and non-Law students can make the Dean’s List but it is only applied to LL courses.

For Year 3 of the LLB, there are also the following Dean's Medals

Dean’s Medal for Best Overall Performance on the LLB (£350)
Dean’s Medal for Second Best Overall Performance on the LLB (£250)
Dean’s Medal for Third Best Overall Performance on the LLB (£150)
Dean’s Medal for Best Undergraduate Dissertation (£150)

The Dean’s Medals offered in the third year are awarded to students for the best overall performance. Students who enter the In-year Resit and Deferred Assessment Period (IRDAP) are not eligible for the Dean’s Medals.
