About me

Bryony Simmons is a Research Fellow within LSE Health. She is part of the LSE team evaluating the cost-effectiveness and feasibility of introducing a novel malaria diagnostic in different endemic and health settings in sub-Saharan Africa (DIAGMAL).

Bryony’s research interests include access to medicines, with a particular focus on access in low- and middle-income countries, pharmaceutical policy, health and access inequalities, and the translation of international policies to the national level.

Prior to joining LSE, Bryony held positions at Imperial College London, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (Rwanda), and she continues to provide statistical support for clinical studies. She has submitted her PhD at Imperial College London. She also holds an MPH (Global Health) from Imperial and an MSci from University College London.
