About me

Divya Purohit is a research professional with a background in economics and data analytics. She holds an MSc in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics, and a Master’s in Economics from the Madras School of Economics, India. She gained experience as an intern at St. John’s Research Institute, where she worked on a project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on nutritional intake and health outcomes. This role enhanced her understanding of data-driven public health interventions. Later, she worked as a Data Science Specialist at Accenture, implementing advanced Machine Learning algorithms for forecasting and text analysis. Her work includes both independent and collaborative research, specifically aiming at understanding the impact of dairy consumption on children's anthropometric outcomes in India. This research fostered her passion for applying quantitative methods to address real-world challenges, particularly in public health and policy.
