As Project Coordinator for LSE Health, Hala successfully managed and closed three European Commission projects, ADVANCE HTA, MAPPING NCDs and IMPACT HTA. She is in charge of all coordination activities, project planning and reporting, dissemination/event management, as well as financial oversight with support from the Research Division. Currently, she is managing the LSE research tasks as part of the Horizon 2020 project RETENTION.
Previously, Hala held the post of Clinical Operations Analyst at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi where she supported the medical and nursing teams in standing up the different institutes of the hospital and managed the clinical pathology laboratory project.
Before that, Hala started-up the activities of the Healthcare Management Initiative of INSEAD’s Abu Dhabi Centre for Executive Education and Research, where she managed the initiative, supported the launch of two executive education programmes for regional healthcare professional, and wrote case studies in the area of healthcare service design and implementation.
Hala holds a B.S in Agriculture and a M.S in Molecular Biology from the American University of Beirut. In 2011, she completed the MSc Health Policy, Planning and Financing at LSE and LSHTM.
