Earlier this month, LSE’s CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education) Master in International Management (MIM) cohort travelled to Norway to participate in the prestigious Annual Events and celebrate their graduation. Hosted by the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) on Saturday 7 December 2024, the event brought together 600 CEMS MIM students from the 33 leading global business schools which make up the alliance
This year’s Graduation Ceremony was part of the CEMS Annual Events held from 4 – 7 December in Bergen, Norway.
Professor Sarah Ashwin, Head of the Department at LSE Department of Management, said: “The Norwegian School of Economics put on a wonderful display, showcasing their academic excellence and vibrant community spirit. The event was a testament to the CEMS Alliance and its dedication to providing a top-tier educational experience.”
CEMS is a global network comprising 33 of the world’s top business schools, over 70 corporate partners, and eight social partners (including NGOs). The network is dedicated to educating and preparing future generations of international business leaders through the CEMS MIM. During their CEMS MIM journey, students study at two schools belonging to the CEMS Alliance, which spans every continent.
Dr Christine Côté, Academic Director of the CEMS MIM programme and the MBA Exchange at LSE, reflecting on the event, said: “I was very proud to represent LSE as the Academic Director of our CEMS Master in International Management and to support our LSE CEMS students on their graduation day. It was a truly amazing event, highlighting the strength and community of the CEMS Alliance, educating future global leaders.”
The graduation and Annual Events showcased the collaborative spirit and academic excellence of the CEMS Alliance, celebrating the achievements of its students and the global impact of its educational programme.
