About me

Biography

Subhajit holds a B. A (Hons.) in Spanish language, literature, and culture from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and an M.A in Gender studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. Before coming to LSE to pursue a PhD in media and communication, Subhajit completed his MPhil degree in Women’s studies from the Center for Women’s studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Subhajit was previously involved in the project called 'Lights, Camera, and Time for Action: Recasting Gender Equality Compliant Hindi Cinema' at the School of Media and Cultural Studies, TISS, Mumbai. In the project, Subhajit was involved in the capacity of a research assistant on the sub-project- Scripting Change. Subhajit’s PhD research is completely supported by the LSE PhD studentship.
