What were you doing before you joined the MPA?
I was an investment banker.
Why did you choose to join the LSE’s MPA?
Geography: I wanted to study in London. And reputation: LSE is a world-leading university.
How has the MPA influenced your career?
The MPA has enabled me to switch from a career purely focused on finance to a career that mixes finance and public policy. I went from being an investment banker to now working in private sector development at DFID, thinking about the intersections of development and the financial sector.
What one piece of advice would you give to a future MPA student?
Don’t stress so much.
