My time at LSE within the SPP was transformative. I had spent my career working in the private sector across various banking and financial roles, and wanted to make the switch to public policy. I had always wanted to transition to something more meaningful with my career to work on issues I feel passionate about. This led me to my journey at LSE and this could not have been a better outlet for my goals. The course equipped me with a methodical, research-based approach to policymaking and the processes required to think through the worlds most pressing and complex social and economic issues.

My experience at LSE was so much more than the academic side and was enriched by the incredible community at LSE and the individuals I had the privilege to learn and grow alongside. This really shaped my experience and I feel truly fortunate to be part of a community of like-minded and sharp individuals from all over the world. I truly believe LSE has an incredibly unique network and clearly a capability to recruit truly exceptional individuals.

I now work in climate policy as the Energy Transition Director for a global non-profit that was born out of Boston. The mission of the organisation is to accelerate the transition to a climate compatible energy system through solutions orientated pragmatic policy. My degree equipped me with the skills to launch myself into this role and this role has taken me to help grow out work across Europe and the Middle East. I work with policy makers all over the world to help shape climate policy.
