English for Academic Purposes at LSE

We have a programme for those of you who are about to commence study at LSE and a support programme for you during your time at LSE

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) focuses on the skills required to perform in an English speaking academic environment across the core subject areas you will encounter during your time at LSE.

Attending the presessional programme at the LSE language centre was deeply motivating and, I have no doubt, of primary importance for my MSc

Programmes are divided into presessional courses, for support before you begin your studies, and insessional courses, for support during your studies.  The latter include a focus on the specific linguistic demands of your particular area of study and are taken alongside your other subjects.
