Student vlog - Applying for scholarships as an LSE undergraduate offer holder
Once you have received and accepted an offer of admission for 2025 entry (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for the Uggla Family Scholars Programme by submitting the following by email to financial-support@lse.ac.uk:
- A completed LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application. The application form for 2025 entry will be available from mid-January 2025. In the meantime, you can look through the LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2024 for reference.
- One academic reference - this can be sent by you together with your scholarship application, or it can be sent to us separately by your referee.
- Supporting documents - this will vary dependent on the information you have provided; further guidance can be found in the scholarship application form.
By completing this form, we will ensure that you receive consideration for the Uggla Family Scholars Programme and any other LSE scholarship(s) for which you meet the eligibility criteria.
Once completed, please email the form and any supporting documentation alongside your form to financial-support@lse.ac.uk.
Deadlines:
- Overseas applicants: The deadline for receipt of applications is 25 April 2025
- UK applicants: The deadline for receipt of applications is 2 June 2025

Application timeline:
- September 2024 – UCAS applications open for 2025 entry.
- Early October 2024 to May 2025 – Decisions (successful and unsuccessful) are made ongoing with all applicants being notified by 14 May 2025.
- January/February 2025 – applications open for LSE scholarships for all.
- 25 April 2025 – deadline to submit scholarships application for Overseas fee status offer holders.
- 2 June 2025 – deadline to submit scholarship applications for Home/UK fee status offer holders.
- End of July 2025 – all scholarship application decisions will be emailed for Overseas fee status offer holders.
- End of August 2025 - all scholarship application decisions will be emailed for Home/UK fee status offer holders.
