Located in the Department of Gender Studies, the MSc in Gender, Peace and Security is a multi-disciplinary programme concerned with the ways in which women and gender are understood in relation to, and affected by, regional, national and global peace and security processes in conflict and post-conflict settings. The programme makes use of empirical material and case studies that are national and transnational in scope, and incorporates interdisciplinary texts and perspectives from theory, policy, and practice.
We welcome students from around the world, with different experiences but a shared commitment to developing understanding and practice on issues relating to women, peace and security and sexual and gender-based violence.
