The Department of International History has an active alumni community. We warmly invite all our graduates to stay in touch with the Department, attend our events and follow us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram for the latest news and activities.

The Department holds several events at the LSE campus each year and our faculty members are involved in activities in London and around the world. By registering and keeping your details updated, you can receive the monthly Alumni Echo update and the annual LSE Connect magazine - while staying up to date with the School’s thought leadership, alumni news and events of interest.

You will also have access to the Alumni Mentoring Network, which connects LSE alumni who are looking for career guidance with fellow alumni who are experts in their field.

If you have completed your course in the last 5 years you can also benefit from careers advice through LSE Careers, and gain access to the LSE CareerHub, as well as a range of career planning and job search support services.

With your new Alumni/Library ID Card, y ou will have continued access to LSE buildings , including the library.

Finally, you can attend LSE Public Lectures and where available book tickets allocated to alumni on the Alumni Events Calendar.

If you are an alumnus of the Department of International History and you would like a reference from one of our academic staff, please complete this reference request form and submit it by email to the respective person. You can find the staff's emails in our People's page. If said person is no longer with the department, please email it to the Professional Services Team. Do include as much information as possible as this makes it easier to write a meaningful reference. You must include all of your courses and all of your coursework and exam results.

Please allow several days for the reference to be written. Let us know if it must arrive by a certain date and if there are any other special requirements (e.g., sealed envelope).

Transcript requests are handled by the Student Services Centre (SSC). Please bear in mind that if you have graduated from 2010 you can access your transcripts electronically via Digitary.

All queries regarding transcripts should be directed to Registry Services on registry@lse.ac.uk.

Degree certificates are issued either by the Student Services Centre or by the University of London.
